Call for Applications
Director of the School of Architecture

The School of Architecture at Université Laval is seeking applications to fill the vacant position of Director of the School of Architecture.

The process will follow these steps:

• Call for applications period: March 17 to April 4, 2025
• Consultation: April 7 to April 21, 2025
• Evaluation and selection: April 22 to May 2, 2025
• Appointment by Laval University’s Board of Directors: May 21, 2025

The start date is September 1, 2025.

After consulting the School’s faculty assembly, it was decided that:

1. The dean will conduct the evaluation alone if there is only one application. If more than one application is received, the dean will form a selection committee.
2. The recruitment process will be conducted both internally and externally.
